Ten years ago we started obsessing over the most ignored surface on a 2-wheeler. Today there's a category for it. This is how we got here.

There’s a simple way to know when a product has failed its user:
The user modifies it themselves.
Walk through any busy Indian city and look at the riders. Towels. Foam pads. Gamchas. Makeshift cushions. Not because they want to accessorize their seats.
Because they have to.
The average stock seat was never designed around the reality of Indian riding — long commutes, endless traffic, rough roads, and hours spent in the saddle.
So riders compensate. They shift. They stretch. They stand at signals. They add whatever padding they can find. For decades, we accepted this as normal.
We shouldn't.
The two-wheeler industry has engineered smarter engines, safer braking, connected technology and increasingly sophisticated vehicles.
But the thing riders physically interact with for hours?
Still just a seat.
That is the problem we're solving.
TWO ENGINEERS. ONE PROBLEM.
Mechanical backgrounds. Long-ride habit since college. Hyderabad-based. Both rode 35–45 minutes to work daily through traffic. Both felt the same thing at the end of every ride — and got tired of accepting it.
Mechanical engineering background with hands-on experience in automotive systems. Has been riding motorcycles for long-distance pleasure since college — the kind of multi-hour rides where seat design stops being a detail and starts being everything. Leads market and customer development at FEGO.

We started looking at this problem in 2016. Got our first utility patent for an air-based seat (FEGO Float) in 2018. Launched. Sold to 10,000+ riders. Used what we learned to start a second round of R&D in January 2025 — this time, foam-based, designed for daily commuters. That's what you're shopping now.
WE WERE BUILDING THE WRONG HERO.
"We tested the foam version on real bikes. Comfort-wise, it worked. But riders kept asking — why would I buy a comfort product that doesn't look good on my bike?
That's when it hit us. Aesthetics isn't a side feature. It's the hero. Comfort and engineering can only justify the price. The look is what sells it."
This is also where the FEGO Spine came from — the visible ridge that runs down the centre of every FEGO seat. We needed a way to prove, at a glance, that this isn't a seat cover. The Spine does that. It's functional. It's manufacturing-friendly. It hadn't been done before. The four constraints converged into one design move.
And it's where "Look Different. Ride Better." stopped being a tagline and became the order of operations. Look first. Ride second. Both, always — but in that order.
